Scenic views from the breakwater make it a delightful spot, especially during sunset. Despite being somewhat secluded, it offers picturesque sights of Malaysia's Forest City and Tuas Checkpoint, complemented by a refreshing sea breeze. Visited during December's rainy period; while sunset might not be as magnificent, it ensures fewer crowds. A serene escape with captivating surroundings.
It's not every day you get to shoot a wedding near a lighthouse in Singapore but I was fortunate enough to do so recently and I must say the lighthouse does not disappoint. The view is exactly how you'd imagine it, beautiful blue skies in the day and mesmerising sunsets in the late afternoon. I would say it's perfect for more minimalistic shoots with simple, clean backgrounds allowing the subject and the lighthouse to shine. I'd also recommend heading down at around 4 or 5, just before sunset to get both daylight shots as well as shots with the dramatic sunset light.
Nice and peaceful place to watch sunset. Need to drive all the way to the west (beside woodlands checkpoint) to get here. The yacht area looks like the one at keppel.
Nice little lighthouse at the marina that’s easily accessible from Tuas Link MRT station. Greenpeace’s Rainbow Warrior was moored there when I went too.
Went for a walk in the morning and being there is like a place out from Singapore. Watch the yachts park alongside the jetty and you can see the second link causeway. Open to public access from 8 am to 10 pm. There is also the Clubhouse that you can have lunch & dinner
Great photog spot and food was really good. Very calming and quiet on weekends but really out of the way.
Nice chill place to watch the sun set. Good idea to bring a picnic mat to sit down and enjoy the breeze and view. And an umbrella just in case it rains because its a long walk without any shelter.
Lucky when I visited it wasn’t raining.
Might be best time to visit during the sunset (around 6.30-7pm local time). If you’re a pedestrian, just follow the maps and walk over the Marina Place, enter from the right wings
